கேப்டன் விஜயகாந்த் அவர்கள், ம.ந.கூட்டணியுடன் இணைந்து முதலமைச்சர் வேட்பாளாராக களம் காணுகிறார். இவர் கடந்த 2011 தேர்தலில் இரண்டாம் இடம் பெற்று எதிக் கட்சித் தலைவராக பதிவகிக்கிறார் என்பது குறிப்பிடத் தக்கது.
Captain Vijayakanth join together Makkal Nala Kootani (MNK) Leaders Vaiko, Thirmalvalavan and others to meet this Tamilnadu Assembly election 2016. Captian Vijayakanth announced as Chief Minister Candidate of this alliance. The long struggle is finalized now, the DMDK and its leader captain joined with MNK (Makkal Nala Koottani). The expected alliance was MDMK and DMK, as they are in very confidential talk, which is not success now. Tamilnadu BJP also try to joint hand with MDMK. MNK leaders were expressed their interest to join together to meet this election and raise their success rate. Stalin said that, "This alliance will not affect the DMK's and its coalition". Anbumani Ramadoss said that, "This is an opportunistic alliance and also said that the situation is favour of PMK". Tamilandu BJP's leader Tamilisai Soundrarajan said that," This is a wrong decision of DMDK, but it will not be affected the BJP's election strategies". Gandhiya Makkal iyakkam leader tamilaruvi Manian was criticized that," This movie is a biggest setback for vaiko".
Tamil Nadu Chief Electoral Officer Rajesh Lakhoni said that the bad criticizing on political leaders with pictures in social media like WhatsApp, Facebook, Twitter and other social medias is punishable offence. A special team appointed to watch the social media by TN election commission. The chief said that "The offenders will be punished U?S 188, as ONE month prision or Rs.200 fine". He also said that advertisements on walls would be removed by the concern parties, not the election commission will do to remove them and collect the its expenses from the concern parties.
Naam Tamilar Katchi (NTK) party's chief coordinator Mr.Seeman launched their party's election symbol and manifesto to public on 02-03-2016, Wednesday. The Naam Tamilar Katche's election symbol is twin candles was introduced at chennai in the press meet on 02-03-2016, Wednesday. In this time Mr.Seeman had been introduced their election's manifesto by NTK.
